About ThaiQuran Foundation

 

 

The journey of ThaiQuran began as a self-funded initiative by its visionary founder since May 2020. It garnered the support of the Arab University Alumni Association for Thai translation of the texts and received approval from Sheikhul Islam Thailand for the Qur’an's authenticity. Masjid Jamek (Yameay) in Phuket, Thailand, graciously took on the mantle of distribution throughout the country before the ThaiQuran Foundation was established in November 6th, 2023.

 

Initiated in 2020 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the project was born out of a pressing need. Many Thai Muslims, confined to their homes during lockdowns, lacked spiritual resources like a Thai-translated Quran to reflect upon during their newfound free time. In stark contrast, Indonesia, home to the world's largest Muslim population, saw most of its Muslim households with easy access to both the Quran and its translations. Witnessing this disparity, the founder of ThaiQuran was inspired to embark on the ThaiQuran Printing Project, partnering with Indonesia's premier Quran factory, Syaamil Quran

To be the beacon of Islamic enlightenment in Thailand by providing Thai Muslims with a free, high-quality translated copy of the Al-Quran. Through advanced printing technology and innovative digital solutions like QR-coded Tafseer access, we ensure the teachings of Islam are not only accessible Offline but also Online
